don't know if anyone's here to play, but i'm going to take a couple of stabs depending on the tote action...

race 2: #2 up to date event. the mitchell first-off-the-claim is taking plenty of money, but i think the hollendorfer claimee will run a good one routing for jerry. 6/1 is more than fair, and anything north of 4/1 is a play.

hmn. that didn't work out so well as the mitchell trainee romped. on to race 3, while it may not look so on paper, there is likely to be at least three horses vying for the lead in here- ran for the dough, vee voom, funny bone and beaucette are good bets to try to get the front. normally, i would look to back speed in here and play against favorite broad minded, who will be coming from last in here, but the potential speed duel scares me enough to lay off this race. if i had to play, it looks like funny bone would offer the most value in here at 7/2 with still more than 5 mins to post.

race 5- nobody better off the claim than mullins and that may be enough to turn the tables on silver past. 2/1 is no great shakes, but would be my play in here.
